Badger now has but three legs (w/ Bloody surgery photos!)

Our baby boy Badger went into surgery on Tuesday July 25. As a result of whatever trauma he suffered before arriving in our care he suffered nerve damaged that rendered him unable to extend his left rear paw. Over time it swelled in size tremendously as he caused further damage to the tissue inside and he wore most of the hair off of it. It needed to be removed, and remove we did.

He’s doing amazingly well considering what he went through. He’s already regained most of his balance and jumping ability. By Wednesday night he had managed to spring into the windowsill above our bed. We’re so proud of him!
