Much to my bemused surprise, Seattle has a division of 826 funded in part by the pictured Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co. No time for any shopping when I passed, unfortunately. Maybe next time.

If I had to guess, you’d definitely be able to find some freeze-dried ice cream, maybe some “moon rocks.” 826 runs a couple more stores around the country to benefit their writing schools. Chicago has The Boring Store and Brooklyn has a superhero store. If we hadn’t been rushing from one end of the city to the other trying to make appointments to view apartments I would have more information.
