Slime – Dragon Warrior monsters – 1/40

So begins a quest — a dragon quest, if you will — to catalog every single monster in the original NES Dragon Warrior in cross stitch. It begins in the same manner as Erdrick’s heroic descendent with the humble Slime.

(Nerds will note that I am strictly using the American version of the game. I don’t have anything against the names Roto nor Dragon Quest, but I also don’t know those games with the same understanding as I do Dragon Warrior.)

I haven’t yet decided what to do with these. The cost of framing all of them is prohibitive, as is the sheer amount of space they’d take up. That’s why all the photos will be of the raw cross stitch, even before washing and ironing. There’s just far too many more monsters to be concerned with.
