Dragon Warrior monsters cross stitch 13: Wolf

The bright blue Wolf inhabits the southern continent, on the far side of the Swamp Cave. Compared to the monsters you’ve fought previously the Wolf looks quite a bit more threatening. He takes up more space and seems to be pouncing out of the screen.

I was bothered on my first play by this fellow’s name. Clearly more than a mere wolf, this beast is a werewolf assuredly. At the very least he is some sort of “wolfman.” That there is also a Werewolf in the game, and that he is the ultimate version of the Wolf just didn’t jive with me. I always thought they should start with Werewolf and go from there. I mean, he has arms and legs for chrissakes! Like a man. . . like a wolfman!
