Dragon Warrior monsters cross stitch 24: Green Dragon

The first boss of the Dragon Warrior game, the Green Dragon guards Princess Gwaelin’s cell presumably at the behest of the Dragonlord. Slaying him and rescuing the princess is the only official goal the descendent of Erdrick has received to this point.

Chances are good that if you played through Dragon Warrior without a Nintendo Power clutched in your adolescent fist or the advice of your buddies on the playground that this dragon utterly destroyed you when you stumbled into his lair way too early. He’s hiding in the undersea tunnel that leads from the northern continent to the southern continent. At no point that I can recall did any of the in-game characters warn you not to stray from the path. Natural curiosity led many an adventurer to death by overgrown lizard.

This cross stitch came out very well. The colors look just right. This guy is definitely in my top five of the bunch so far.
