Dragon Warrior monsters cross stitch 30: Werewolf

I mentioned this back in the Wolf that I was very much bothered by this fellow’s name as a child. That’s not entirely true. I wasn’t bothered at all by this monster’s name. Clearly he is very much a werewolf. As are the other Wolves in the game. I mean really, he’s walking on two legs and everything!

This means, naturally, that he must also have nards.

I’m not bothered any more. Perhaps in growing up I learned to allow considerably more poetic license to game monster names. More likely I just don’t care so much as long as the monster isn’t named something moronic.

As for the stitching, this guy seems to be the best Wolf to me. The color scheme works, albeit in a Crayola kind of way, even though the blue is a bit too bright for the original image.
