The nice moblin that gives Link money in the original Legend of Zelda for the NES rendered in cross stitch. I put this together in the winter of 2006 as a gift for my brother. He always loved the moblins in general and this moblin in particular. Stitched on 14 count black Aida fabric, the entire design — including the planned copious dead space — measures 11″ × 14″.

Colors used (DMC)

  • 900 – Dark Burnt Orange
  • 977 – Light Golden Brown
  • BLANC – White

You need to make a pattern for this and the other awesome cross stitches you do! I’m a total child of the 80s and my bf would love it if I made him some of these! I already for the happy mac to make for my brother! thanks!

Thanks! As for a pattern… I’ll consider it. The last one I made was all by hand, and it took an awful long time to complete. Maybe if I can figure out a more sensible way to go about it other than filling in every block with a letter, wrapped in span tags.
