Phillies cross stitch

For my father-in-law, a lifelong Phillies fan, I crafted this logo in cross stitch. I elected to cut the colors down to the bare minimum—my initial chart had all sorts of would-be dithering—and only used red, blue, and white. Also, the original logo has stars but they wouldn’t show up at this scale. So I put squares instead.

I think he’ll like it quite a bit.

Colors used (DMC)

666 – Christmas Red
797 – Medium Royal Blue
B5200 – Bright White

Great job! Did you make a pattern? Or do you have a larger picture – I think I could copy from that. I would love to use the Phillies name to cross stitch on a towel for my niece who is a HUGE Phillies fan.
