I swear to god or whatever that I can do this.

Feb 12 06

Really. I can. How hard is it to sit down at a keyboard for a few minutes a day and type something? Not hard. Not hard at all. People do it every day.

So, I made a few changes “under the hood” to borrow an exceptionally masculine car repair metaphor. On account of I’m so insecure about my wuss hobbies that I need to appropriate “tough guy” lingo to make myself feel like more of a man, naturally. Not because it’s a phrase in such common usage that it does not bear explanation. No way.

As I was saying, I made a few changes “on the back end.” Can you notice them? Probably not so much. A little bit of a change in the style. I still haven’t fixed my little “staff” profile thing. (See, when I first set this us I thought I might add some other people to post shit but it never really came about and then I realized that I probably didn’t care and I never got around to fixing it. So sue me.) Nothing really worth mentioning but I’m still happy in general with what I did.

Whoopee! And shit.

This is Sorrytown v3.0

Aug 22 04

This is where it starts. Two sites on borrowed server space and using questionable content management systems have gone before. Laziness and contempt for my own handiwork have, in the past, doomed each previous version to a short, painless demise and a fadeout into nothingness.

So. . . perhaps it would be advisable to start out with a list, a mid-year’s resolution, a manifesto.

  1. Update in a timely manner. . .
  2. Yet, do not be so concerned with an update as to bore the audience
  3. Avoid discussing the layout and workings of the site. . .
  4. Unless I’ve figured out something particularly neat
  5. Recruit friends to bring new perspective
  6. Use my camera more often: photos are good
  7. Keep that up for at least one year

That should be a decent start.
