Late October in West Virginia is typically a great time to enjoy fall foliage and the scenery from any of the local roads should be awful pretty for you leaf and tree lovers.
The wedding is just a few miles from the New River Gorge Bridge and the New River National River Park System. The New River Gorge Bridge is the longest single-span arch bridge in the western hemisphere (China recently built a longer one).
Also nearby is Hawk’s Nest State Park and the (in)famous Mystery Hole. Both are on US 60 a few miles away from the wedding site.
Down US19 is a small town called Fayetteville where we picked up our marriage license. We didn’t spend much time there, but it was undeniably precious. They filmed some of Win A Date With Tad Hamilton there.
